This year I decided to head to the West Coast to celebrate my birthday. I was my first time visiting the Golden State and I love every moment of it. While there I got the chance to visit Mulholland Drive, the Hollywood walk of fame; I even get a chance to breeze by the Capitol Building. With all of the glitz and excitement of Hollywood, it’s easy to forget to admire the architecture of the LA. I stayed at the Ritz Milner, a hotel located in the middle of downtown LA. The ghost of 40’s LA whispers through the halls.
I was visited by the other Donovan from Charleston for a old fashioned welcome complete with party favors and a tour of the city. Once we parted ways I took the opportunity to explore the city some more. I can definitely come back to visit as LA has many hidden jewels.
